If you take a long and hard look around the internet you will see that most of the people who are successful are those with a lot of experience in their field or someone who just got extremely lucky by producing a floating light bulb at the right place and at the right time. If you want to succeed in this business then you are going to need some internet marketing experience, but who says that you need to learn from your own mistakes, when you can just learn from the mistakes of others?

With the Internet Marketing Niche's growing popularity there is enough information scattered over thousands of pages that are at your fingertips. One of the key mistakes that new webmasters/internet marketers will make is that they research all the things that they "should" do to be successful online but they forget to look at what they "shouldn't" do!

If you look through all the top "Make Money Online Blogs" you will find that they all fall under two categories. The first category is the one where the webmaster appears to be successful (whether he is or not) and the second one is where the webmaster isn't successful and wants to be. If you take that information and look a little bit closer you will find that nine times out of ten the first category is where are the top sites are located. The reason is because they are aimed at those who want to learn about Internet Marketing or areas surrounding it and they don't want to learn from someone who knows nothing about it. They want information from somebody who has experience, knowledge and primarily; success! Would you take marriage advice from somebody who has been divorced 3 times? The answer is probably "No, of course not." So if you are thinking about making money in this niche then you have to at least appear to be an authority on the topic!

Because you may be new to Internet Marketing you may be prone to make a lot of beginner's mistakes. If you want to avoid making them and lose some credibility then you should do a little bit of research about things you shouldn't do on your website. I know that at first it may be difficult, but with a few simple words in the Google search box you could be moments away from knowledge that could save you and your website embarrassment. You could just type something as simple as "internet marketing newbie mistakes" in the search field which will provide you with many pages of useful information!

A more advanced way to learn from the mistakes of other marketers is to take notice of any negative relationships. If a certain blogger is posting remarks to make another blogger look bad it is probably because he/she did something wrong (bad enough to warn others about). Read up on what bloggers are saying about each other and you could find yourself avoiding a lot of controversy.

One final thing you should do before taking any action is to ask other marketers if what you plan to do is a good idea. One way to make sure that your website is ready to be viewed by surfers is to get it reviewed by an experienced webmaster before you officially launch it.

I have over a dozen blogs that I personally read as often as I have the chance. The reason is because they provide me with good information that I can either use for myself, share with my readers or at least try to see the value in it. They also provide me with the latest news within the niche, so if someone has an unsuccessful product launch because of a silly mistake.. I can read about it and avoid making the same mistake myself.

"Learn from other's mistakes.. you don't live long enough to make them all yourself!"
